Job Description: 
 
 
1.             Setting up and operating an Injection Molding machine
a.             Can run a recipe saved in press
b.             Can start a brand-new job from scratch
 
 
 
This position under the direction of the Plant Manager, will assist in the set-up and running of the 
assigned production equipment. Insuring that it is done in a safe and timely manner. 
Production Floor Duties: 
• Material Handler (Prepare materials for processing, keep machines filled) 
• Regrind of excess materials in a timely manner 
• Set-up (level 1) 
o Help move & load tools into machine 
o Setup production tooling and auxiliary equipment as required 
o Pack for the shipment of Completed product. 
• Tool/Mold Maintenance 
o (Wipe down tools & inspect only) 
• Preventive Maintenance duties on Molding Machines and related Equipment. 
• Cleaning facility 
• Machine Operator (back-up) 
• Pick-ups & deliveries 
Office duties: 
• Clerical office work 
• Project assistance/ISO related documentation 
Shipping & Receiving 
• General shipping & receiving duties 
Other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications 
Basic computer knowledge preferred 
Ability to use basic hand tools 
Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance. 
Proof of US citizenship and drug screening required
Must be able to lift 55 lbs. 
Competencies: 
experience in the industry a plus 
Good communication skills 
Attention to detail 
Manual dexterity 
Flexible work schedule 
Literate in reading and writing English 
Able to understand verbal or written directions
