ASAP startAcademic Appointments are working with a Primary school in Sheffield who are seeking Teaching Assistant to work in KS1 and KS2 on a full time long term basis until December 2024. The role will be delivering a range of interventions and also provide general class support. The ideal Teaching Assistant would be talented, creative, and enthusiastic about being a positive role model for all pupils.A successful Teaching Assistant candidate would:

• Have experience as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant either in mainstream schools or any other alternative provision.
• Have a history of working as a Teaching Assistant with students with challenging behaviour, autism, SEMH.
• Have a confident, caring, and assertive personality
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Have strong communication skills
• Have good behaviour management skills
• A commitment to helping children reach their full potential

What we need from you:

• To be currently available for full time employment.
• Experience in Primary school setting
• 2x references.
• A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service
