ABOUT THE SCHOOLProspero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a specialist high school in Oldham, Greater Manchester who are looking for a Qualified SEN Level 3 TA to join their team.The school is for children in KS3 (aged 13-15 years old) with significant social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Students attending may have witnessed developmental trauma, and the centre focussing on a tailored approach to learning.The team are looking for someone to join them that can evident previous experience in a similar setting and that are strong and confident delivering the KS3 curriculum.The school are looking for someone who is confident, dedicated and excels in behaviour management.The role will consist of:

• Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN (special education needs)
• Creating a safe environment that allows the children to have fun, learn and succeed
• Academic support of a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assisting the teacher

The Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 TA qualified or equivalent

• Knowledge and experience teaching KS3 mainstream curriculum
• Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis

Position Details:

• Location – Oldham, Greater Manchester
• Position – Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• Contract Type – Temporary (with possible permanent opportunities)
• Paid to scale
• Hours – 8.30-4.00pm (Term Time only) Monday – Friday
• Start Date – ASAP
