Must Have:

• Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT)
• CPR certification
• Ohio Medical License

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The Behavioral Health Provider operates under the general supervision of the facility behavioral health services (BHS) supervisor. In this part-time contract role, you will assess the risk for suicide and mental health stability among incarcerated juveniles.
• You will also conduct biopsychosocial assessments and updates for youth involved in legal proceedings and residing in correctional facilities. Your work will contribute to positive outcomes and youth well-being within this unique context.

Required Skills:

• Assess the risk of suicide and mental health stability for incarcerated juveniles.
• Perform thorough biopsychosocial assessments for incarcerated youth.
• Make informed clinical decisions related to treatment status and needs.
• Ensure meticulous completion of all necessary documentation.
• Collaborate closely with BHS to facilitate seamless service delivery.
• Provide coverage during weekends and holidays as coordinated with BHS.

Required Qualifications:

• experience in clinical decision-making of suicidal clients, and experience in conducting biopsychosocial assessments of youth.

Required education:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
