• Schedule: 7am-7pm, Full-time
• Department: Adult Acute Care
• Location: Thomasville, North Carolina
• 35 Bed Acute Care Unit
• 6:1 Patient/Nurse Ratio
• Thomasville Medical Center serves the general patient population hospitalized for various causes, such as illness, surgery, testing, or observation. Staff care for patients with a variety of diagnoses COPD, Diabetic, Stroke, Heart Failure, Surgical Patients Non-STEMI. 3rd Floor also accepts patients on drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone and Heparin. We are certified in COPD and stroke care. We have a very strong Mobility program on the unit as well as an infection prevention program. Our ratio is a 1:5 if patient has a cardiac drip.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program, required.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: Appropriate state LPN license, required.
• Additional skills required: Computer skills, phone call etiquette, organizational skills.
