Location: Gallipolis, OH, 45631
Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Duration:  6 months 
Role & Responsibilities:

• Performs practical nursing procedures such as obtaining vital signs, applying oxygen, administering sterile dressings, inserting catheters, reinserting gastrostomy tubes, performing wound care, administering medications (controlled and non-controlled, including oral, rectal, topical, inhalation, subcutaneous, and intramuscular), and assisting with enteral feedings.
• Monitors patients during and after procedures and provides follow-up care.
• Provides first aid, CPR, and operates AED in emergencies.
• Maintains accurate medical records, including medication administration, patient charts, unusual incident forms, seizure documentation, and restraint logs.
• Completes thorough documentation and verifies and implements physician’s orders.
• Completes controlled drug administration/tracking records and ensures timely reporting of any discrepancies.
• Documents infection control measures and maintains work assignment records.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree
• Valid Ohio Medical License
• CPR Certification
• COVID-19 Vaccine Card or Exemption Letter
