Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certificate required
  • A minimum of one year nursing experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with an Intellectually and Developmentally disabled (IDD)population is preferred.
  • Experience working with challenging behaviors/MH issues preferred.
  • Experience with diabetic clients
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required depending on the work location.
  • You will work onsite Monday-Friday 6am-2pm.

We’re looking for a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our supportive, missiondriven team at our residential program in Sheridan, CA.

As an LVN in our Mental Health/Behavioral Health /Intellectual and Developmental Disabled (IDD) program, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating care for individuals in a residential setting.

From managing overall medical needs to performing assessments, treatments, and followthrough on health concerns, your expertise will directly enhance the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities are general nursing duties including:

  • assessments, treatment and follow through resolutions of all-health issues
  • scheduling and attending medical appointments with clients
  • medication audits
  • training DSP staff on medical needs and care of clients

Earn $38 per hour
