Location Description 

The Cambria Hotel of Pittsburgh is a peaceful retreat amid the bustle in Pittsburgh. Whether you are in town for a family vacation or a business trip, our upscale hotel puts you close to the area’s top sights like Carnegie Science Museum, PPG Paints Arena, Rivers Casino, theaters, restaurants, and more. 

Mission of the Role:

The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation and cooking of food according to established recipes and standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assists in the preparation, production, and service of food for restaurant, banquet, and associate functions
• Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes by following recipes and/or product specifications
• Maintain standars of sanitation an ahere to food safety regulations
• Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment including but not limited to choppers, mixing machines, slicers, steamers, grills, etc.
• Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a cook preferred
• Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds, including stocking shelves above eye level
• Must be able to bend, twist, lift, and stand for the duration of a shift
