What you will be doing… Your IMPACT
- Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling, cutting, slicing, etc.)
- Cook food using various methods (grill, bake, roast, fry, saute, etc.)
- Clean dishes, workstations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Unload, organize, and store food and supplies using the first-in, first-out inventory method
- Monitor inventory and notify chef when supplies are low
- Provide a positive customer experience with fast, friendly, and courteous service
- Assist with cooking and serving for catered events
- Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Adhere to all food health and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
What we are looking for…
You will need to have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must possess or obtain SafeServ Food Handling Certification
