In this role, you will assist with food preparation and service, maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and help manage inventory to minimize waste. What you will be doing… Your IMPACT

• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling, cutting, slicing, etc.)
• Cook food using various methods (grill, bake, roast, fry, saute, etc.)
• Clean dishes, workstations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in compliance with food safety regulations
• Unload, organize, and store food and supplies using the first-in, first-out inventory method
• Monitor inventory and notify chef when supplies are low
• Provide a positive customer experience with fast, friendly, and courteous service
• Assist with cooking and serving for catered events
• Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen
• Adhere to all food health and safety requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

What we are looking for…
You will need to have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Must possess or obtain SafeServ Food Handling Certification
