About The Role
Our growing financial institution is seeking a LoanServicing Reconciliation Specialist to be an integral part of our Spokane loan team. This position provides administrative support while also providing excellent customer service to existing bank customers. The pay range for this postion is: $18.03 – $27.06/hour
This position will coordinate with the Commercial and Consumer lending teams to execute daily general ledger balancing and third-party vendors accounts, maintain high standards of data integrity.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Document and receive approval for all reimbursement of funds involving loan accounting.
  • Work all daily exception reports.
  • Balance all loan general ledger accounts for daily, weekly, and monthly certifications.
  • Process all charged off loans, risk rate downgrades, partial charge offs and OREO loans
  • Process all E-Oscar credit reporting corrections on the system and retain data for audit.
  • Assist Consumer and Commercial Loan Servicing pods with other duties as assigned.
  • Monitor FSA loan reporting and WCRA loan payments and boarding
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Scan any supporting documentation to the bank’s electronic filing system as needed.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Complete required bank training within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual’s responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given, they need to reach out to a supervisor for further clarification and additional training.
  • Responsible for adhering to bank policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulations.
  • All additional assigned responsibilities.

About You

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of 1 year similar or related experience preferred.
  • High school degree or GED required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
  • Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and the ability to learn new systems and applications.
  • Ability to have a broad knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lb items including filing boxes.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. PTO accruals begin at .0745 per hour worked for our part time employees up to a maximum accrual of 240 hours per year for certain Full-Time employees. PTO accruals are dependent on position, status (Full time or Part time), and years of experience in accordance with our PTO policy. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
