Scope of Work/Tasks:
The consultant will report to the T4D Specialist (Health)
Support data analytics requirements for system enhancement and rollout:
1. Lead requirements gathering and specification activities related to data design (data items to collect, store, and share), and analytics (including all processes from data ingestion from identified data sources, cleaning, analysis, interpretation, and visualization) on immunization system development projects.
2. Work with the vendor in identifying data analytics requirements among intended system users (national and subnational level).
3. Produce data analytics artifacts (e.g., forms, mockups, prototypes) to inform the development of new modules and/or update existing modules on data analytics.
4. Specify requirements to support data aggregation and analysis required for reporting (e.g., accomplishment, KPIs).
5. Review final specifications, conduct testing and verification activities on data analytics module/s.
6. Propose/review data processing and data quality plans.
Capacity building:
1. Lead data analytics capacity building activities roll out (national and subnational); work closely with vendor in the planning and organization.
2. Advice on and review training materials; ensure alignment with the project goals and compliance with data quality policies and standards and requirements of government partner.
3. Serve as resource/trainer in data analytics capacity building activities.
Reporting and Documentation:
1. Support project reporting requirements by conducting data analyses; ensuring accurate data are reported to stakeholders, partners, and funders.
2. Populate, verify, and maintain project data sources used (e.g., for the purpose of KPI tracking).
3. Review project and analytics reports from vendors.
4. Support completion of project reports; supplying data requirements and ensuring accuracy and quality of data being reported.
Conduct routine and ad hoc routine analyses:
1. Lead/support day-to-day data analytics activities required in implementing digital health solutions supported by UNICEF.
2. Support/work with vendors in conducting data cleaning, cleaning, analyses, and visualization.
3. Ensure compliance with the plan, data, system, and industry standards.
4. Ensure data quality by running routine checks together with the vendor or as a separate activity, depending on the agreement and need.
5. Ensure compliance of vendor in data quality requirements (e.g., ensuring timely submission and review of data quality reports).

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract. The candidate may also be subject to inoculation (vaccination) requirements, including against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid).
