Local Government Solicitor – West Midlands, Liverpool, Leicester Required!Are you a skilled and dedicated Local Government Solicitor seeking a new opportunity to make a significant impact? We are looking for an experienced solicitor to join our dynamic legal team, serving local authorities across the West Midlands, Liverpool, and Leicester.Role Overview:As a Local Government Solicitor, you will provide expert legal counsel to municipal councils, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of legal matters, including public law, regulatory issues, governance, planning, and contract law.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality legal advice to local authorities on complex public law matters.
• Advise on governance, regulatory compliance, and legislative changes.
• Represent local government clients in litigation, including disputes, contracts, and planning matters.
• Draft legal documents, policies, and contracts in line with statutory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with public bodies to deliver practical and strategic legal solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with proven experience in local government law.
• Strong knowledge of public law, governance, regulatory compliance, and local authority functions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A commitment to upholding the public interest and contributing to effective governance
