**Thanks in advance for the interest, but if you do not have a valid work permit, please don’t apply to this position**Our client, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of apparel, is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to add to their team! The coordinator will be responsible for shipping US and / or Canadian orders. They will be part of a team whose main responsibility is to monitor and arrange all sales orders to be prepared and shipped out according to ship windows and requirements of the customers. The coordinator will be
monitoring the orders for the list of clients he/she will be responsible for on daily/ weekly basis.
Coordinate any shortages, overages, delays and other related issues with customer service,
sales, inbound logistics and warehouse teams. The person will be responsible to prepare and/or
coordinate preparation of all required documentation, routing and EDI transactions to take
place according to set deadlines.Responsibilities:· Sales order monitoring and preparation for picking
· Pick release
· Communication with CSR in case picking or order allocation is incorrect
· Communication with warehouse for order preparation
· Routing
· Outbound paperwork preparation for each ales order
· Communication of EDI in case orders require changes or other issuesWorking conditions and environment:· Hybrid workplace and remote solution due to current pandemic situationRequirements:– Outbound logistics experience – knowledge of main US and Canadian retailers
– Understanding and basic operations of EDI
– Momentis experience an asset
– Good written and verbal communication skills
– Strong understanding of warehouse, cargo preparation and retailers’ compliances
