The Machine Operator at our Baldwin, WI location is responsible for set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications. This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday – Thursday 3:15 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.

Role Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.

• Schedule and handle materials

• Assure compliance with print specifications.

• Utilize computer programming.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.

• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:

• High school diploma/GED

• Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory control practices strongly desired

• Ability to read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions.

• Knowledge of general safety practices

• Knowledge of general metal material properties

• Ability to work with close tolerances.

• Strong mechanical ability and mathematical skills

• Communicate effectively.

• Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.

• Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.

• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.

• Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.

• Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.

• ability to listen, be trainable, retain information, follow all safety guidelines and protocols, and be self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

• have some press brake or sheet metal forming experience

Hourly Pay Range: $26.14

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.

This position is eligible for a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals.
