Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate production machines to perform a variety of repetitive processes such as drilling, cut-off, punching, forming, burring, deburring, resistant welding and tumbling
• May involve close tolerances
• Perform daily/weekly maintenance on production machines
• Responsible for inventory accuracy
• Assist with product assemblies as needed
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and Suggestion System as required
• Maintain high level of WPO (Workplace Organization)

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm; Monday – Friday overtime is voluntary
• $18.00/HR

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience setting up punch presses, cut off saws and drill presses
• Basic Blueprint reading
• Additional metals machine or resistance welding education desired
• Must be able to work with micrometers, calipers, height indicators and other measuring equipment
• Must have a good mechanical ability
• High school diploma
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills and a mindset for continuous improvement
