Purpose of Position: To operate the filler/capper, labeler, Axiom, palletizer, Depalletizer and other production equipment as assigned, in a safe and efficient manner to produce a quality product in a timely and efficient manner, and to perform other duties as directed by Production Management.

Specific Function: 

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

1. Sets up case code equipment, label machines, etc.
2. Performs the duties of the Filler/Capper Operator, Labeler Operator, Axiom Operator, Palletizer Operator, Depalletizer and other duties as determined by Department Management
3. Relieves Operators for scheduled breaks, lunches, sick time, and vacations, as required.
4. Handles cartons and operates forklifts (must obtain/hold license) as needed.
5. Assists the Production Team and Department Supervision as necessary.
6. Completes paperwork as required.
7. Assists Maintenance Department personnel on the repair or set-up of machine to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
8. Take an active role in start-ups and changeovers to have assigned machine ready to operate when product is available, including CIP’s when necessary.
