The Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) Department at Missouri S&T is hiring a Machinist to support the upcoming launch of the new Missouri Protoplex. This is a collaborative role with Missouri S&T and Missouri Protoplex industrial tenants. You will work alongside university staff, students, and industry partners on a variety of projects ranging from student lab support to industrial prototype fabrication. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a “hands-on” environment where the daily tasks shift between manual machining, operating advanced CNC systems, and assisting with equipment upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $20.49-$27.48 hourly.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
