Essential Responsibilities

• Operate mills (Doosan, Haas, Makino) and lathes (Femco, Haas, Okuma, Romi, manual, VTL)
• Perform machine set-up
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
• Read gauges and other inspection equipment to confirm conformity, and accuracy, of work
• Determine the best machining methods and sequence of operations
• Hold tight dimensional tolerances
• Run multiple machines concurrently
• Diagnose & troubleshoot equipment that affects quality, productivity, or safety
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency

Qualifications and experience

• High School degree or equivalent is required
• Background in aerospace is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
