Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate should be adept at performing their own set-ups and runs on the machine, and possess a strong understanding of height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and blueprint interpretation. Familiarity with Fanuc Controls is essential, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal training.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.

• Proficiency in performing set-ups and runs on the machine.

• Strong understanding of height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and blueprint interpretation.

• Experience with Fanuc Controls.

• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.

Work Environment

The CNC machine shop environment is smaller, with around 50 employees, fostering a family-like atmosphere. The 1st shift hours are from 7am-3:30pm with potential for overtime including Saturdays from 7am-noon. Dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $24.00
