Machinist/Machine Operator

Job Description:

Location: Ipswich, Massachusetts

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Machinist/ Machines Operators in the Ipswich, MA area1

7am to 3:30pm Mon-Fri – Pay would depend on experience.

Responsibilities:

Daily startup and general maintenance of Lathes

Part setup of CNC Lathes

Basic G-code and M-code programming for new parts or troubleshooting

Perform first article inspection with common metrology tools to ensure products comply with company and customer standards.

Lathe operation to produce parts

Raise quality concerns with management and troubleshoot to address issues

Work with manufacturing and management team to identify possible areas for improvement machining or manufacturing processes

Desired Background/Skills:

4+ years of CNC Lathe experience preferred.

Experience with CAD software, preferably Solidworks.

At least one professional role demonstrating competency as a Machinist.
