Join the Loudoun County Department of General Services (DGS) as a full-time Mailroom Lead Courier within the Internal Services Division. This position is based at the Loudoun County Courts Complex and plays a key role in supporting court operations through timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: </undefined>

• Accurately collect, sort, and distribute UPS, FedEx, USPS, interdepartmental mail, packages, and other deliverables to Court offices.</undefined>
• Ensure timely mail delivery in accordance with established schedules.</undefined>
• Assist with the operation of mail-metering equipment.</undefined>
• Support departments with certified mailings and ensure that the appropriate departments are charged the correct postal rates.</undefined>
• Develop courier schedules and complete special projects as needed.

The successful candidate will provide courteous, positive, and helpful service to both internal and external customers at all times.</undefined>
Hiring salary is commensurate with experience.</undefined>

High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of related experience (preferably coordinating delivery needs/teams) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment background checks, including Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) fingerprinting, criminal history, and DMV record checks.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record. (Driving records will be reviewed annually for continued qualification.)
• This position requires the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds and work in all types of weather conditions.
• May be required to work beyond the scheduled workday.
