Maintenance Electrician – 1st and 2nd Shift

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

* Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and demos the electrical parts of industrial equipment and facilities

* Provide safe, reliable and efficient operation by observing the local, state, and national

electrical-code regulations that pertain to the work being done

* Log time and material usage into CMMS for PMs and corrective maintenance

* Assists in supporting the company’s preventative maintenance program

* Maintain proper housekeeping in all areas

* Assist in other areas of plant maintenance as required

* All other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

* Display skills equivalent to that of a Journeyman Electrician; Specifically, but not limited to:

– Installing and repairing electrical components such as electrical panels, breakers, wiring systems, and controls

– Bending and installing conduit

– Pulling wire for installs

– Installing an array of fixtures

– Threading and installing hanging anchors

– Cleaning circuit boards and contacts

* Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.

* Electrical troubleshooting knowledge

* Ability to understand schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents

* Knowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulations

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers at all levels

* Must exemplify the ability to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated.

* Ability to demonstrate self-reliance in all aspects of maintenance

* Excellent customer service skills such as problem solving, timeliness, and follow-up- required

* Must be able to demonstrate the ability to enhance PM and PDM maintenance strategies.
