Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach is searching for a Full-Time General Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering team, servicing and maintaining a 230-room property including a fitness center and pool. This role will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs throughout the property. Guest room and public area, entry-level preventative maintenance experience desired, experience in guest interactions or experience in a customer facing role is preferred as well. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, drywall repair, primer painting and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred.
• Customer service and proficient communication skills required.
• Able to work a variety of AM & PM shifts including weekends and holidays
