Express Employment of Long Beach is hiring Maintenance Tech for local manufacturing and packaging company. This is a great position for an mechanically inclined, jack of all trades individual that understands production needs and timelines.

POSITION – Maintenance Tech

LOCATION: Wilmington

PAY: $22-25/Hr.

HOURS: Mon -Fri 5:00am – 1:30pm, with lots of Overtime

Responsibilities

• Forklift certified for sit-down forklifts
• Support manufacturing and packaging areas.
• Set up and break down production machinery as needed
• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks around the facilities
• Take apart, assemble and maintain production equipment
• Install, assemble, and repair equipment, and other facility components
• Assist with facility-related project and needs as required
• Adhere to all safety procedures including the use of PPE
• Keep production areas clean by performing housekeeping tasks as necessary

Skills

• Previous maintenance experience in production environment
• Forklift certified for sit-down forklift
• Mechanically inclined, jack of all trades
• Basic Technical Knowledge: Understanding of basic machinery, production equipment, facility maintenance, etc.
• Understanding of Safe Practices and PPE

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Steel toe shoes
• HS diploma or GED
• Work in a chemical manufacturing environment
