Holcim HBE, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Split Shift Plant Electrician/Mechanic to support operations at OX Engineered Products Jax, FL. This position will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide variety of fixed electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, systems, and machinery. This entails inspecting the premises, performing routine maintenance, and responding to any breakdowns. This position typically works from 5:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. Overtime will be required, and shift may be adjusted for business needs.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Routinely walking the plant to inspect electrical and mechanical.
Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following the manufacture’s recommended service intervals and company procedures. Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
Enter all work orders, repairs, and P.M.’s in CMMS.
Respond, troubleshoot, and repair any equipment breakdowns.
Report all incidents, accidents, near misses and first aid events to supervisor.
Adhere to all Company Safety, Environmental and Compliance.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Required Work Experience: A minimum of two years of experience performing the functions listed above in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience with troubleshooting/installation 120V – 480V electrical systems.
PLC and relay logic troubleshooting experience a plus.
Proficient in hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Welding skills are desirable.
Strong safety-orientation
Ability to work overtime.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
