SAIC is seeking a Management Information Systems (MIS) Analyst. This position designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using MS Access to provide business intelligence reports, including database customization.

  • Provide business intelligence development support for database sources (MS Access). Must understand and be able to implement database customization as needs and metric change. Knowledge and skills of MS TEAMS Power Apps.

  • Use existing data sources to develop reports, dashboards, and metrics in support of Facility Life-Cycle Management.

  • Create data connections and publish user-created reports, spreadsheets, visualizations, and user dashboards.

  • Establish and maintain account security rules and access control rights to visualizations and dashboards, data connections, data files, and system objects for users and developers.

  • Provide technical guidance to users regarding how to best utilize and develop data visualizations based on best practices, in order to meet mission requirements.

  • Ability to train end users on use of database applications to input and maintain real property data, newly available training materials, system performance issues, and new software capabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with governance policies, information architecture and other organizational policies.

  • All other program analyst duties as assigned.

  • To directly contribute to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Applicant selected must hold or be able to successfully complete a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret level clearance.

  • BA/BS degree with 2 years relevant experience in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Management Systems or Computer Science preferred.

  • Candidate must be capable of executing analytical tasks, utilizing both analytical techniques, and processes, for complex developmental and operational programs.

  • Experience leveraging Microsoft technologies, such as MS Access, MS TEAMS, Power Apps, C#, SharePoint, or SQL Servers to improve business processes and practices.

  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with team members.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelors degree and 7 years of experience, Masters Degree and 3 years of experience in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Management Systems or Computer Science preferred.
