Description
The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician (Intern) to join our Engineering team at Whitman Laboratories. This 13-month placement offers hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment that contributes to about one-fifth of Estée Lauder’s global sales output.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
Support cross-functional activities, including Safety, Quality, and Project Work, with required documentation.
Promote safe working practices aligned with Safety, Compliance, GMP, and Audit standards.
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, assess feasibility, and drive improvements.
Stay updated on equipment and emerging technologies; share best practices with peers.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert to resolve recurring issues and support company initiatives.
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement using LEAN tools and techniques to enhance equipment efficiency and processes.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors on daily tasks.
Deliver excellent customer service while working closely with other support teams.
Participate in production support projects, including reporting, documentation, line trials, and transit tests for new packaging.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Studying an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering or related subject and be on track to achieving a 2:1 standard or higher. (A Chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering degree is preferred).
QUALITIES: We are looking for excellent team workers, good communicators, strong project management and organisational skills, outgoing and persuasive individuals.
