As our next Benefits Manager, you’ll be at the center of that mission-driving forwardlooking benefit strategies, enhancing how employees and retirees engage with their plans, and ensuring our programs evolve with the needs of our diverse workforce. You’ll collaborate closely with partners across the organization to bring innovative ideas to life and uphold the highest standards of compliance and care. This role offers the chance to shape a benefits experience that reflects NYPA’s values, strengthens our culture of wellbeing, and supports the dedicated people powering New York’s clean energy future.
Plans, designs, evaluates and administers NYPA’s employee benefit programs for active and retired employees. Programs include retirement, life and health insurance, leaves of absence, wellness and other health and welfare plans. Sets policy related to benefits, manages vendors and is responsible for HIPAA compliance. Manages a team of Benefits professionals. #LI-CJ1
Approximately 10% travel primarily within NY State
The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $134,000-$177,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates’ relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
