Position Summary:

The Central Sterile Supply Manager is responsible for managing, directing, integrating and coordinating all aspects of sterile/medical instrument processing, equipment, supplies and services in support of the mission of Middlesex Health, ensuring a safe and cost- effective operation that is in compliance with all regulatory agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three years experience in central services/sterile processing and or related O.R. experience
  • One year previous managerial experience in a processing service that supports a surgical service, general patient care service, and outpatient activity or equivalent
  • Sterile Processing Distribution certification (CRCST) by IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management) or CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) required within 2 years following completing new hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business
  • 5 years of supervisory experience
