Girls Who Code is searching for a dynamic, results-oriented Community Partnerships & Outreach Manager to develop and execute recruitment strategies that drive Girls Who Code programmatic expansion. The Manager of Community Partnerships & Outreach will lead the development and execution of the outreach strategy for their territory. The Manager will lead a team of regional part-time permanent and part-time seasonal team members to cultivate and expand strategic partnerships with school districts, departments of education, library networks, and community based organizations within an assigned region of the country and identify relevant lead audiences for international outreach. They will work closely with both Community Partners and individual leads to launch Girls Who Code Clubs and drive the student recruitment process for Girls Who Code’s Summer Immersion Program and Self-Paced Program, in their assigned region of the county as well as in key international markets for Girls Who Code’s International Summer Programs applicants. In addition to leading their regional program expansion, the Manager will play a key role in leading assigned national expansion strategic initiatives that support the full Community Partnerships & Outreach Team.
The ideal candidate has at least four (4) years of demonstrated experience cultivating, building and maintaining high-impact school and community partner relationships, and/or experience in large-scale outreach, admissions, talent recruitment, account management, business development, or community organizing. They bring experience with cross-functional project management, people management, and working with diverse stakeholders of students, families, educators, and schools, and a passion for connecting girls with high quality, free, computer science opportunities. They thrive in a fast-paced innovative environment and are driven by meeting and exceeding regional expansion goals.
Candidates must meet the requirement of our hybrid remote work policy, which requires 2 in-office days per week. This is not a virtual/fully remote position.
