Classification & Regular HoursHours per Week: 35Salary will be commensurate with experience.This position includes additional compensation for the accountability of responding to calls from 4:30PM to 7:00AM, Monday to Thursday, and weekend assignments from Friday 4:30PM to Monday 7:00AM. Our integrated team provides exceptional service in creating and maintaining Western’s facilities and in serving the community.ResponsibilitiesThe Manager, Electrical & Controls Services provides leadership to ensure proper planning, installation, operation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs to all electrical and controls systems, infrastructure, and associated equipment, components, and related processes. The Manager will provide effective leadership and supervision to the team and ensures that there is efficient, safe and reliable delivery of services to University of Western Ontario’s staff, faculty, students, and visitors. The Manager will provide technical advice regarding the University’s electrical and controls systems and will collaborate in the development, management and control of the operating budget and capital budgets, as well as ensure all legislative requirements, codes and standards applicable to electrical and controls services are met and ensures that staff are trained and supported. The Manager will support and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while collaborating with Facilities Development & Engineering on project design and construction, service interruptions, and maintenance requirements.QualificationsEducation:
