The Manager of Finance Transformation leads cross-functional initiatives in the development of digital and transformation strategy as well as the delivery of new systems and improvement projects, including leveraging existing and emerging technologies with a focus on results that improve controls, reduce risk, and improve team efficiency and effectiveness. This role leverages effective communication skills to translate complex requirements into plans and action. They provide project management support and handle process documentation, the gathering of business requirements, applying process improvement methodologies and tools, coordinating with IT on application implementation and releases, and providing training on process changes.

Essential responsibilities include:

• Work with key process owners to identify improvement opportunities and implement automation solutions with limited direction.
• Apply process improvement methodologies and tools to evaluate and improve efficiencies, reduce risk and/or increase standardization.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across Finance & Accounting.
• Influence the prioritization of Finance operations projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Lead and manage programs and projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Spearhead the adoption of AI-driven solutions to enhance financial processes, decision-making, and overall operational efficiency.
• Communicate system changes and new processes to impacted users; create knowledge transfer tools.
• Oversee the integration of technology solutions to automate routine tasks and improve data accuracy.
• Lead change management of automated processes and governance of technology solutions in coordination with IT.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders, executives, and external partners to provide updates, gather requirements, and address concerns.
• Support business leaders in decision-making and the ability to explain analysis results to non-technical audiences.
• Oversee and develop a team of system analysts to support Finance and Accounting projects and strategic initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, IT or related field.
• Ability to build, maintain, and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Technical acumen and ability to converse on technical integration topics.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Continuous Improvement, Business Transformation or related field. This should include 3-5 years of experience using RPA technologies UI Path, SQL, ACL, Alteryx, Python, or robotics.
• Ability to influence without direct supervisory control.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and takes initiative whenever an opportunity presents itself.
• Well-organized and delivery-focused.
• Experience leading strategy, testing, and implementation of new features and integrations.
• Ability to identify gaps and propose adequate solutions
• Highly self-motivated, driven, with a strong work ethic
• Familiarity and experience with process improvement principles and methodologies.
