Division Summary: CRST’s Dedicated Solutions division is focused on service excellence to retailers and producers who need consistent, dependable, high-quality delivery services. We provide customers the flexibility of a private fleet, without the expense. Dedicated Solutions is divided into East and West divisions.

Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing a team of two Supervisors who are responsible for 35 drivers. Their main task is to ensure the fleet is well-maintained, meets legal requirements, and is operated efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize costs. They are responsible for managing and developing relationships with drivers to increase overall driver satisfaction and improve driver retention. They also work closely with drivers to coordinate deliveries and ensure they arrive at their destination on time. Communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this role. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 70% of the night will be interacting with team out on the yard. 30% office work
• the rest of the night–at desk, computer work
• Build, develop, and oversee the training of new staff
• Ensure budget and cost management
• Define, document, and hold team accountable to account specific SOP’s
• Oversee the management and retention of 35 drivers to include good driver morale, high level of service to customers, safety, and efficient and profitable utilization of equipment
• Oversee and ensure compliance in scheduling of all maintenance and repairs of all company-owned equipment
• Ensure on-time service for our customer

Work Location: This role will work on-site at our customer location International Paper in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Shift: Sunday – Thursday 4:00am-1:00pm
