Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityThe Manager leads the integration of all information sources related to physician resource tracking, credentialing, and recruiting. This position’s responsibility is to ensure that processes related to information tracking and credentialing are followed. The Manager acts as the day-to-day operations manager of the Privileging and Credentialing Office as well as the lead in collecting and reporting information related to physician resources. The Manager will be tasked with implementing the integration of the Credentialing and Privileging database with newly developed tools for tracking physician positions and vacancies in the province. As a member of the leadership team, the Manager identifies, implements, and prioritizes strategies that will support the efficient management of physician resource information systems.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, public administration, computer science or similar program required. A Master’s degree in these fields is considered an asset.
  • Experience in Administration/Human Resources Management an asset.
  • Health Human Resource planning and management.
  • Knowledge in Medical Terminology and Medical By-Laws an asset.
  • Ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders and within the team environment to achieve objectives and deliverables.
  • Experience in motivating a team to achieve objectives within specified time frames.
  • Ability to develop strategies and approaches for overcoming challenges related to achieving objectives.
  • Minimum two years in a supervisory/management role with human resources or medical administrative office environment is required.
  • Must have well developed data management and visualization skills.
  • A good working knowledge and understanding of the health care environment is required.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, particularly Microsoft Office Suite is required. Additional experience using information management and reporting tools an asset (e.g. Smartsheets, Tableau).
  • Strong quality and time management and organizational skills
  • Critical Thinking and analysis, direction of staff, and human resources management experience working with a unionized workforce.
  • Work with large datasets and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage projects, manipulate and manage data.
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
