Manual Machinist (mill)

Krueger Bearings is growing and we are looking for experienced MANUAL MILL/DRILL MACHINISTS for 1st or 2nd shift.  Full or Part Time.
 

NOTE: This position is ideal for someone who likes to do prototypes, and figure out new jobs on their own. A Tool and Die background is a good fit.
 

We are a “job shop” environment running small quantity orders. This requires employees to be able to do their own set-ups, read and interpret blueprints and job routings. experience on Bridgeport Mill machines is desired.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, program and operate milling and drilling machines on a variety of work to very close tolerance.
• Ability to use jigs, fixtures, clamps, etc.
• Select, prepare and install respective tooling.
• Adjust speeds, feeds, tooling and operational sequences as needed.
• Work from blueprints, routings, process sheets, etc.
• Excellent shop math to compute angels, radii, and other dimensions.
• Must be proficient with measuring tools: calipers, micrometer, etc.
