CMC is a major supplier to the aerospace and high-technology industries, airlines, military agencies and government customers worldwide.Why join our Manufacturing Engineering team?Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will work in a team to develop, support and optimize manufacturing processes in the Displays product area.As Manufacturing Engineering Analyst – Displays, your key responsibilities include:

• Perform the selection, purchase, validation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment as well as the user training.
• Design production equipment and tools
• Technical Support of production activities.
• Analyze results on manufacturing quality to improve assembly processes.
• Write the required technical documentation for production: visual aids, routing, manufacturing procedures.
• Intervene as an agent of change in the continuous improvement of assembly processes for different product lines by applying Lean Manufacturing and / or Six Sigma techniques.
• Analyze manufacturing capacity and propose solutions to identified problems.

How to excel in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automated Production Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of design software tool (Solidworks).
• Knowledge of the machining and sheet metal folding technics.
• Must be an informed user of Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Work experience in an environment of lean, six sigma and/or kanban is an asset.
• Bilingualism (French – English – spoken and written).
