Manufacturing Helper

Summary

Our growing company is looking for an entry-level Manufacturing Helper to join our team!

As a Manufacturing Helper you will assist Machine Operators on production equipment with anemphasis on safety and quality. As a member of the team, you will receive the training andexperience needed to advance to the role of Machine Operator.

Schedule: 1st shift (8:00am to 4:00pm)

Pay rate: $18.00/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe operation of production equipment to produce quality products byadjusting machine controls for speed, temperature, pressure, etc.
• Understands and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
• Produce orders on time to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.
• Perform product labeling, packing, wrapping and helping to supply line for production.
• Assists with all required quality inspections, testing, and production documentation.
• Comply with company standards regarding housekeeping and 6S on machines andsurrounding areas.
• Helps perform routine preventative maintenance and assists maintenance personnel asneeded on machine related issues.
• Other duties as assigned by plant leadership, production leads, or shift leads.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extrusion experience
• College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
• Ability to operate hoists, pallet jacks, and other related equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
• Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs.
• Eye/hand coordination.
