Manufacturing Manager–Kimball, 11th Ave Jasper, IN – Jasper, IN

The Manufacturing Manager oversees all aspects of the production process for office furniture manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and timely delivery. This role involves managing production schedules, leading a team and driving continuous improvements in manufacturing processes.

• Maintain quality level to customer’s expectation.
• Participate as a member of the staff setting direction and focus for the manufacturing operation.
• Set direction for continuous improvement of employee (member) morale.
• Coordinate with Master Schedulers and execute the production plan.
• Reduce complexity in the manufacturing process.
• Communicate and coordinate with all departments.
• Plan for capacity, resources and equipment needs.
• Utilize personal continuous improvement to develop leadership skills on the shop floor.
• Provide performance feedback for developmental planning concerning all direct reports.
• Follow all safety guidelines and uses required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follow and support the Quality system.
• Performs job rotation as directed.
• Support our Environmental Management System (EMS).

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
• 5 years or more proven experience in manufacturing management, ideally in furniture production or a related industry
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and quality management systems
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to analyze production data and implement improvements
• Hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset
