Job Description
The Manufacturing Manager oversees all aspects of the production process for office furniture manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and timely delivery. This role involves managing production schedules, leading a team and driving continuous improvements in manufacturing processes.
Maintain quality level to customer’s expectation.
Participate as a member of the staff setting direction and focus for the manufacturing operation.
Set direction for continuous improvement of employee (member) morale.
Coordinate with Master Schedulers and execute the production plan.
Reduce complexity in the manufacturing process.
Communicate and coordinate with all departments.
Plan for capacity, resources and equipment needs.
Utilize personal continuous improvement to develop leadership skills on the shop floor.
Provide performance feedback for developmental planning concerning all direct reports.
Follow all safety guidelines and uses required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Follow and support the Quality system.
Performs job rotation as directed.
Support our Environmental Management System (EMS).
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
5 years or more proven experience in manufacturing management, ideally in furniture production or a related industry
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and quality management systems
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to analyze production data and implement improvements
Hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset
