PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Planner to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this critical role, you’ll help shape the manufacturing process from concept to completion—developing and maintaining detailed production plans, work instructions, and manufacturing strategies that ensure precision, efficiency, and excellence in every build.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, develop, and maintain manufacturing processes, Bills of Materials, and work instructions to support production goals.
• Create manufacturing concepts and strategies that align with business objectives and delivery commitments.
• Integrate complex suppliers, materials, and technologies to meet manufacturing and quality standards.
• Lead investigations and resolve complex manufacturing-related issues.
• Develop and manage tooling requirements from design through end-of-use.
• Conduct producibility assessments and recommend improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
• Prepare build analyses, cost estimates, and process documentation to support strategic decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Planner.
• 8+ years of experience with CAD software.
• Strong ability to interpret and read 2D and 3D drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting engineering data.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing engineering processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related computer applications.
• Ability to obtain customer approval for access (background check required).
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Gold ESP and MESCI systems.
• Previous experience supporting aerospace planning operations.
• AA degree in a related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Pay Details: $46.43 per hour
