OVERVIEW

We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a Manufacturing Technician in Vista, California. The Manufacturing Technician role will perform fundamental tasks within a GMP environment in support of more complex manufacturing operations Their work will have a direct impact on the organization and the larger clinical industry, making this an amazing career opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cleaning and maintaining the workplace to meet standards for controlling bioburden levels.
  • Cleaning operating equipment per applicable procedures to prevent product contamination.
  • Maintaining records/logs neatly, accurately, and in accordance with current standard procedures.
  • Responsible for equipment setup and operation in a biologics processing environment for plasma-derived pharmaceuticals.
  • Perform detailed cleaning of equipment and facilities to MSP/cGMP standards.
  • Complete technical training profile as required.
  • Strict adherence to department safety rules.
  • Conduct bulk processing and filtration, including monitoring processing parameters (e.g., pH, weights, separation, assay results).
  • Perform real-time documentation during the production run.
  • Responsible for equipment setup and operation in a biologics processing environment for plasma-derived pharmaceuticals.

EXPERIENCE

1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or Bachelors degree preferred. Manufacturing, or experience in pharmaceuticals/biologics processing in a GMP

  • Basic math skills with proficiency in the metric system.
  • Accurate documentation skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be available to work any shift, including weekends.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and use good judgment.
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Must be proactive, results-oriented, and have strong attention to detail.

Occupational Demands

  • Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
  • All work is performed in a cleanroom (sanitized) manufacturing environment, requiring proper gowning.
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment.
  • Job requires bending or standing for prolonged periods.
