The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:

$43,100.00 – $64,700.00

Work Shift: This position will support the D shift which is every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 6pm – 6am. This shift includes a 10% shift differential.

Purpose Statement: The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus’s assembly operations.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Develops / executes Manufacturing solutions / Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer’s requirements while establishing an area of technical specialty (in-discipline) and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates an intermediate, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications / cross discipline OR supplier coordination, as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus’ Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Comprehensive Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• A minimum of an Associate’s degree OR the completion of a Diploma in a discipline related to Electronics / Manufacturing / Engineering or Science
• Minimum One (1) year of related experience is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
