Marketing Coordinator, Southern Europe | Paris, France | Full Time

The Marketing Coordinator for Southern Europe will assist the Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of all marketing initiatives in line with Aesop’s brand positioning and philosophy. In this role, you will coordinate and support with the implementation of marketing campaigns across the networks: Aesop.com, signature stores, department stores, physical and online wholesalers; including customer communications, events and digital support. You will provide local marketing support for new store openings and existing ones across the Southern region—France, Belgium, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. The ability to build relationships across regions and departments coupled with your strong communication skills will ensure success in this position.

The Marketing Coordinator role is a full time position and will report to the Marketing Manager, Southern Europe. This role is based in Paris.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities included, but not limited-

• Assist the Marketing Manager in the execution of all local marketing activities across the networks, in conjunction with the global strategy and global marketing guidelines, brand values and business needs.
• Assist in maintaining the local marketing budget and keep track of all expenses for retail marketing and PR activities to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Assist the Global marketing team and the Marketing Manager in all local aspects of CRM campaigns, including building eDMs for each language, reviewing all online pages and updating the eDM and homepage planners.
• Order appropriate marketing collateral and press samples, dispatch allocations per market, organize product seeding and monitor inventory.
• Support the Marketing Manager and work in collaboration with the Global marketing team in the translation review process.
• Prepare adequate marketing related reports, including PR report.
• Support the marketing manager in making sure all copy required for a campaign is translated in the market languages and matches the brand guidelines
• Spearhead individual signature store trade marketing initiatives, ensuring each store receives customized attention.
• Assist the Global marketing team and the Marketing Manager in building and implementing marketing strategy for new store developments.
• Coordinate the execution of stores’ and external events, including customer communications, RSVP management, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and running of the event.
• Monitor store performance and react to current up or down trends with the appropriate amount of marketing assistance.
• Support the Marketing Manager in scouting out opportunities with local potential partners.
• Support store managers with local marketing activities focused on gaining visibility in the neighbourhood.
• Prepare relevant reports

Who we are looking for-

• Degree qualifications in marketing or a relevant field.
• Over 2 years’ experience in marketing, including digital marketing.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and the wider business.
• Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change.
• Experience working across multiple countries in the EU region an advantage.
• Deep affinity with the Aesop brand and its values.
• Fluent in French and English, additional European language (Italian, Spanish) will be highly regarded.
• Passion for the arts, literature, architecture, design and other cultural areas
