About the role

The Marketing Manager for Product Information Management (PIM) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a scalable PIM infrastructure for the Electrical business that supports our product data needs across marketing, e-commerce, and operations. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, consistency and strategic use of product data across various channels. With a strong understanding of digital marketing and the customer journey, this role will manage product information and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement of PIM-related systems including DAM, syndication, and eMerchandising tools.

This position is on-site in our Melville, NY office with the opportunity to work one day from home.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Salsify and similar PIM software platforms
• Lead all aspects of the end-to-end implementation of a Product Information Management system for the Electrical business, including configuration, integration, and deployment
• Design and maintain data models, taxonomies, and product hierarchies working with our product teams,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, IT, Product, E-commerce) to define data requirements and workflows. Ensure those workflows are implemented and adhered to
• Ensure data governance, quality, and consistency across all channels
• Integrate PIM with ERP, CMS, DAM, and e-commerce platforms
• Manage ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting
• Train and support all direct and indirect PIM users throughout the business
• Develop documentation and best practices for PIM usage and maintenance
• Propose and implement new tools to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness of the PIM (e.g., AI, automation, personalization)
• Assist with the development and execution of effective marketing campaigns leveraging product data

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency using PIM systems to manage and distribute product data
• Strong background in marketing, with the ability to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and market trends to inform product information strategies
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy in managing product data
• Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills for effective collaboration and customer engagement
• Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Comfortable operating in a matrix environment as the role will support several business units and functions

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, eCommerce or Computer Science/IT required; dual concentration in two of the above preferred
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in eCommerce Business Management or eCommerce Product Management or Product Marketing
• Expert in implementation of a PIM and related systems; Salsify a plus
• Digital Product & eCommerce experience, including digital marketing workflows
• Strong understanding of product data structures, taxonomy, and digital asset management
• Experience overseeing complex, multi-channel sales structures and broad products and solution sets
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills

Pay Range

$110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
