Your Role: This is an exciting time to join Times Travel, as we are close to launching a new digital retail operation which will enable consumers to plan and book holidays inspired by our travel content. You will be the lead marketeer for this proposition, responsible for developing high impact marketing plans to increase awareness and consideration and ultimately achieve profitable growth targets for this business.
Day to day Duties:
Devising and implementing innovative, data-driven, multi-channel campaigns using digital and traditional channels to effectively reach and engage all target audiences to drive acquisition and retention
A strong focus on the customer journey, leading on the execution of all the customer journey automations.
Write briefs, managing creative development and ensure alignment with key stakeholders
Maintain commercial focus, working closely with revenue managers to identify new audiences and promotional opportunities to grow revenue and passenger numbers profitably
Partner with marketing analysts and finance teams to deliver market insights and accurate campaign reporting, utilising data and insights to optimise campaigns and marketing budget and improve ROI
Managing monthly, quarterly and annual marketing budgets to ensure an optimal mix is achieved across the awareness, consideration and decision-making stages
Manage a team of 2 x graphic designers to create multi-platform campaign assets; and one Marketing Executive.
Collaborate with CRM team to build customer segmentation models and planning strategies that maximise customer retention and acquisition
What we’re looking for from you:
Experience in a similar role with extensive knowledge of the travel market
Ability to manage budgets, control costs and deliver strong ROI
Experienced in and delivering successful performance marketing campaigns across SEO, social and PPC – using test and learn and developing best practice principles
Experience developing extensive suite of brand assets and comms in line with brand guidelines
Proficient in digital tracking, data analysis and drawing insights and recommendations using Google Analytics and other reporting dashboards
Skilled in utilising CRM platforms to manage customer relationships and drive targeted campaigns in order to scope out the full consumer journey for retail
Background in and excellent understanding of digital and performance marketing creative best practice, skilled at running AB tests to optimise creative output
Experience in leading digital and print creative teams – internal or external
