Position Summary:
At the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Master Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule, aligning manufacturing and material plans with customer demand, and ensuring delivery timelines are met. This role manages the production operations for the manufacture and repair of aerospace products and is critical in driving operational efficiency, supply chain alignment, and production optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Understand supply chain design for their customer(s) and maintain the design based on the contractual obligations and/or applicable corporate policies, standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Monitor the work order schedule and notify customer team of potential problems in meeting customer demand, and escalate any potential work order load challenges to the material team manager
- Generate key information for the financial forecasting process and be able to rationalize as compared to the loaded sales orders
- Schedule and conduct work order planning/shortage meetings as required. Actively lead or participate in appropriate team meetings.
- Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials time to meet production requirements. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
- Works with operation and sales to develop detailed schedules and assist project managers in keeping these schedules current.
- Schedules coordination of materials, tooling, engineering, equipment and manpower.
- Prepares, maintains and analyzes status against the plan.
- Communicates master schedule appropriately and effectively.
- Develops, incorporates and monitors corrective actions to mitigate schedule impacts, i.e. identifies need for impending subcontracting and facilitates team with make/buy decisions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Operations Management or related
- Working knowledge of MRP systems is preferred
- 3-5 years similar related experience is preferred.
Pay: $60,000 – $90,000
