Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Waterman, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Able to lift, push, pull, and bend with up to 25 lbs repeatedly; able to carry up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Comfortable with heavy lifting tasks and always use proper lifting techniques
• Work well both independently and as part of a team
• Sort metals and handle materials in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Always follow safety procedures and maintain a safety-first mindset
• Able to read and understand metric measurements for sorting and accuracy
• Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) in a fast-paced environment
• Safely operate sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes
• Help with inventory and keeping track of materials as needed

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
• 2 years of material handling experience
• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable lifting heavy items and standing for long periods
• Familiar with reading and understanding metric measurements
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes is a plus
