Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Saugerties, NY. Interested?
Here’s what you’d do:
- The Material Handler is responsible for the storage, movement, and handling of different goods, supplies, and materials.
- They also receive their daily job assignments from the Warehouse Manager.
- This role will be part of the Manufacturing team and report to the Warehouse Manager.
- Demonstrate best practice approach in the areas of safety, quality, timeliness of delivery, and efficiency.
- Receives pick tickets from the warehouse coordinator and reads order number, size, color, and quantity of merchandise.
- Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves.
- Picks customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and product type are loaded and ready for the next process.
- Collaborates with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products.
- May assist in placing incoming items in inventory.
- Sweeping and general housekeeping.
Here’s what you’ll get:
Pay: $16-$23/hr DOE.
Hours: 40 hours/week – 1<sup>st</sup> shift.
Length: Contract to Hire.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with inventory control/stockroom.
- Knowledge of Company products.
- Must be able to balance multiple priorities.
- Proven Communication Skills.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
