Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Model the Spectrum Brands Values and Behaviors: Ownership, Teamwork and Agility to achieve service excellence, meet and exceed organizational objectives and support fiscal responsibility.
• Work with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Maintain good housekeeping and observe all company rules including plant health, safety, and environmental rules.
• Perform accurate inventory transfers using a RF Gun into and out of the MFG department and warehouse.
• Accurately document required information about all transfers.
• Pick customer orders accurately.
• Work directly with the shipping/ receiving clerks for daily picking schedules
• Physically perform and record cycle counts accurately.
• Assist in inventory counts.
• Will use forklift and may work from/operate a MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform), such as scissor lifts or boom lifts.
• Will use Reach Truck to move material.
• Perform other work related duties as assigned.
• Abide by all Company policies and procedures

education and experience Profile

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience with operating powered equipment.

Required Skills

• Computer skills for SAP transactions.
• Organizational skills to maintain paperwork and work documentation.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Must be available to work across multiple shifts.
• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
• Must wear all prescribed PPE including, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety glasses, respirator and steel toed shoes.
• Able to operate warehouse equipment including but not limited to reach truck, forklift, pallet jack, scan gun, etc.

• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
